Pelikan Souveran K805 Stresemann Ballpoint Pen
Description
Souverän® Stresemann® pen The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Weimar Republic, Gustav Stresemann (1879-1929), was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926: Together with his French colleague Aristide Briand, he was recognized for his reconciling work for the nations after World War I. In addition to his impressive political career, Stresemann also became famous for creating a new type of suit that was formal enough for formal presentations as well as comfortable enough for his daily work in the office. Stresemann liked to wear suits with delicate stripes and, as life sometimes shows, a legend was born ... Pelikan's ribbed fountain pens were called "Stresemann". Both suits and feathers bear this name to this day. To officially recognize and respect this legend.
Pelikan named the latest model Souverän, with its elegant anthracite stripes, "Stresemann". The body is decorated with strips made of cellulose acetate. The production of these inconspicuous looking stripes is labor intensive. For the finely turned black parts, a high-quality resin was used. The clip and rings are palladium plated. The gold nib has been completely degraded to produce a silver sheen. Each writing instrument is the result of manual work, which is carefully controlled to meet strict quality criteria.
