Ludovico Sforza - Prince of Milan
Silver-plated finish. 750 nib, rhodium-plated, engraved (has an ornament on the coat of the Sforza family). Filling system - piston.
The fountain pen was made of silver covered with black varnish.
The feather was additionally decorated with the motif of Leonardo da Vinci frescoes from Sala delle Asse, housed in the Milan castle (decorations up to 925). Pen holder and clip remind the architecture of the prince's castle. The ring placed in the upper part of the pendant is "TESTONE", the coin minted for the prince's birthday.
Every year since 1992, Montblanc publishes a limited collection related to the so-called patronage of the Montblanc de la Culture art, as a tribute to the most important patrons of the art and culture of past centuries. This year, Montblanc celebrated the birthday of the fourth son of the Duke of Milan, Francesco Sforza, Ludovico Sforza, born in 1452, who was raised as one of the most influential and prosperous Renaissance rulers.
