Description

Publiusz Eliusz Hadrian - Roman emperor in the years 117–138. After his death, he was counted among the gods.

The feather is made of Egyptian basalt. 14 kt gold trim. 18 kt gold nib, engraved. The fountain pen is screwed down, has a reciprocating ink system.

Hadrian was one of the most powerful and respected rulers in history. As one of the "five good emperors," he ruled in an era that chroniclers considered to be the happiest in antiquity. Hadrian ruled for 21 years over an empire covering three continents.
Hadrian completed the expansion of his predecessors, stabilized the provinces and became a great emperor of peace and prosperity.
His legacy was enormous because Hadrian invested in infrastructure and art in all parts of his huge kingdom.
Not only Rome and Athens thanked him for new buildings and comprehensive reconstruction, but also many other cities of his empire.
