Publiusz Eliusz Hadrian - Roman emperor in the years 117–138. After death, he was counted among the gods.
The feather is made of Egyptian red basalt. Sterling silver trim. 18 kt gold nib, engraved. The fountain pen is screwed down, has a reciprocating ink system.
Hadrian was one of the most powerful and respected rulers in history. As one of the "five good emperors," he ruled in an era that chroniclers considered to be the happiest in antiquity. Hadrian ruled for 21 years over an empire covering three continents. Hadrian completed the expansion of his predecessors, stabilized the provinces and became a great emperor of peace and prosperity.
