Graf von Faber Castell Heritage OTTILIE Fountain Pen 2016
Description
The Heritage Limited Collection pays tribute to Ottilie and Count Alexander von Faber-Castell, who restored and extended the Faber-Castell Castle in the early 20th century. The impressive design and sophisticated craftsmanship of the new rooms combined with the intelligence and demanding personalities of Ottilie and Alexander served as inspiration for the creation of these unique, luxurious fountain pens in limited quantities.
Nostalgic elegance expressed through an interplay of colors and an intricate pattern on the purple body in the Otille fountain pen. A unique artistic synthesis is a combination of the best materials. All metal parts are made of sterling silver 925, while the nib is made of 18 carat gold. At the end of the cap you will find two knurled rings characteristic for Graf von Faber-Castell writing devices made of solid silver.
The intersecting initials A, O, F and C being the initials of Alexander, Otille and the Faber-Castell family names are intricately engraved on the top of the cap with the utmost precision. The decorative ring on the cap is decorated with the inscription "Handmade in Gemany".
The name of the "Limited Edition Heritage" collection along with the number 1898 informing about the number of pens produced is engraved on the lower part of the pen. The number 1898 is not accidental, it commemorates the wedding year of Otille and Alexander. Each feather is placed in a special company package with a brochure describing the genesis of the collection.
