Description
The fountain pen was created in collaboration with one of the world's leading neuroscientists, Dr. Richard Restak, to highlight how writing and happiness affect the way you see time. Dr. Richard Restak, after many years of research on the brain, came to the following conclusion: "As long as our attention is focused on what we are doing at the moment, we tend to be unaware of time."
Among the many visual timing references, the Time & Brain Limited Edition features an actual work timer at each end. The crown of the cap houses an analog quartz clock, and a miniature 3-second hourglass built into the base of the pen body is one of the most intricate elements ever created in the manufacture of fountain pens.
Other symbols include an Art Deco pendulum clip along with other engraved sundials, watch faces, and daily clocks. A fountain pen made of sterling silver.
18 kt gold nib, engraved.
