Fountain pen Montblanc Patron of Art MOCTEZUMA I 888
Description
A fountain pen made of turquoise lacquer with a pattern reminiscent of the Moctezuma coat. The colors of the pen Red and Blue are the Moctezuma colors. There are war symbols and a skull on the cap.
The pearly-colored Montblanc symbol is embedded in a sunstone, and Moctezuma's victories are also engraved in the pen. The shape of the feather is based on the Altatl (spear thrower).
At that time, wearing symbols meant standing in society, the more the better. The four lines represent the 4 major directions that radiated from Templo Mayor, the large temple, Huitzilopochtli. The pattern resembles a staircase to the top of the temple. The upper ring of the extended cap and the top of the clip refer to the Aztec crown and jewelry.
The clip shows a spear, on the sides it is decorated with feathers.
Limited edition of 888 pieces.
