Montblanc Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition 1902 Rollerball Pen
Description
Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the most famous crime writers in the world who created the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. The brown color of the precious resin resembles the pipe that Sherlock Holmes often smoked - an element that is also occupied by a ferrule and a wooden cone. In addition to a fragment from a historical map of London, the cap and body of this edition are decorated with a grille, which refers to the coat of Sherlock Holmes. The clip is inspired by the magnifying glass used by Sherlock Holmes. Behind the clip is a silhouette of a dog made of luminescent pigments, referring to the novel "The Dog of Baskerville" from the Sherlock Holmes series. The ring on the cap is signed by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and bears the logo of A Study in Scarlet, the first case of Sherlock Holmes. The Montblanc emblem, made of delicate mother-of-pearl, crowns the cap of this edition.
The handcrafted 750 solid gold nib is decorated with engravings of a portrait of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and a magnifying glass reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes.
