Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days LeGrand Fountain Pen
Description
The Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel written by Jules Verne. The LeGrand fountain pen made of blue precious resin refers to the first part of the journey. In it, the main character usually travels on a steamer from London through the Mediterranean Sea and through the Suez Canal to Mumbai. The cap is decorated with a milled pattern showing the most important elements of this story: ocean waves, the colors of the playing cards and a cartridge with a laser-engraved steamer. The length of the journey is stamped on the tag: 18 days from London to Mumbai for a total of 80 days.
The fountain pen is completed with a hand-made 14-carat rhodium-plated gold nib. It is decorated with a hot air balloon pattern, as well as data from the beginning and end of the expedition.
