Fountain Pen GRAF von FABER CASTELL Pen of the Year White
Description
The Pen of the Year collection by Graf von Faber Castell was launched in 2003. The Roman Empire is its next edition, this time inspired by the history of the great Roman civilization, whose power stretched across three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa.
The uniqueness of this pen is evidenced by the fact that the limited number of copies produced was limited to only 400 pieces.
The pen was hand-made of white Carrara marble, which is also used to create one of the most famous sculptures by Michelangelo - David. Marble rings are interspersed with platinum laurel wreaths that symbolize fame and success. Another remarkable detail is the intricately made ferrule with the image of the Colosseum engraved on it. And on its top there is a miniature Roman denarius, modeled on a silver coin from 44 BCE.
The nib of the pen is made of 18 carat gold (.750) in two colors.
